Our Story

The Story Behind Lua Pajamas

Lua, the Portuguese word for moon, is a tribute to my heritage and to the quiet rhythm of motherhood. It reminds us of the stillness that settles over the world at night, when everything slows down and all that matters is the little one in your arms. The moon has long been a symbol of comfort, guiding light, and gentle presence—much like a mother herself.

The lily was chosen with just as much intention. It symbolizes new beginnings, pure love, and the quiet strength that blooms through motherhood. Soft yet resilient, it reflects the way mothers hold so much with grace, often in the smallest, unseen moments.

Together, the lily and the moon tell the story of Lua Pajamas. A celebration of the beauty found in slow evenings, sleepy cuddles, midnight feedings, and whispered lullabies. They remind us that even in the middle of the night, there is tenderness, light, and love growing between a mother and her child.

Because one day, the nights that felt so long will become the memories you wish you could hold onto just a little longer.
